Thanks, everyone, for the information on the last NWP passenger train service at Railroad Square Depot in Santa Rosa. I wonder if the Fred Stindt books are available in a library, somewhere?

NWP Station in Santa Rosa

A while back, I purchased a book entitled "Against All Odds" by Amalie H Langmueller. I picked up the book locally. It is a murder mystery, with the NWP in the background. I believe that mention was made that the NWP station. in Santa Rosa (railroad square), had passenger service up until sometime in the 1950's. Growing up in nearby Sebastopol, I can't remember passenger service as late as the 1950's..I thought passenger service was discontinued sometime in the 1940's.
