I cleaned the locomotive with Windex on a make-up sponge, while wearing disposable gloves. I do this on all weathering projects to remove fingerprints/dust etc. I masked the lights; windows; the speaker grills under the fuel tank and the area between the truck side-frames including the wheels. I then sprayed Model Masters flat finish.…

The author asserts that some of the rails and ties are from the 1920's but that doesn't soudn right to me. Don't ties only last 20-30 years? And don't rails have to be pulled out too because they weaken through interal…

Cost of Repairs - NWP Track North of Windsor

At the NCRA Board of Directors meeting today, NCRA will be presented with an estimate to repair the rail line from Windsor to Redwood Valley, which is North of Ukiah.  In the report, NCRA will be presented with four different scenarios, and will decide which repair scenario is the most economical for them to proceed with.
