While opening this site, the great Ron Close 2013 picture of 1922 sitting at Standard Structures while lumber was being offloaded for Mead Clark in Santa Rosa. Anyone know why Mead Clark isn't still using the NWP for incoming delivery or maybe they are getting a direct delivery?
Those of you in Santa Rosa should go in and talk to the management. I personally don't like lumber trucks on 101.
I was under the impression that 1501 is as well
Chris, no, 1922 does not have PTC... Only 2009 does at this time.
Not PTC equipped?
Richard, 1922 sits in Schellville in the deadline along with the 007 and a caboose.... Not exactly sure why....
but back to the fundamental question where is 1922?
Carl:
NWP having to transload lumber that is already loaded on a truck and having to make a trip up to Windsor for one centerbeam may not be able to compete cost-wise with trucking.
Ah remember when. Last Monday while driving thru Santa Rosa I saw a loaded lumber truck with boards marked "Redwood Empire".
So be it and thanks Scott once again.
