You called this one correctly. While the SMART GM did not identify where they were damaged his picture clearly showed major in transit damage by UP.
See my post today Nov 7.
We won't forget because we are watching. Please identify issues as I will be attending the next SMART mtg.
If nothing else you know that I will fight for the success of both SMART AND NWP on this new RoW.
Having just once again driven to Cloverdale only to see a beautiful station sitting in the weeds and now paying the tax, I will demand answers or better yet results for SMART.
Steve: Forgot about that! Thanks!
So, is the "A" car the one with the cafe or the restroom? I always get those two mixed up.
What are "C" cars? Isn't it the case the SMART only has "A" cars? All the trains that I've seen are either "A" cars back to back, or three "A" cars lashed together. Right?
Or is there some subtle detail that I missed?
A recent Trains Mag. article says that the Nippon Sharyo plant in Illinois is closing. Isn't this where the SMART cars were manufactured?
