We attended the Oakdale Dinner Train last night. It was very nice, but it's sort of sad that in today's economy the "Dinner Train" only had approximately 45-50 people aboard it. In the years past, all of the train's passanger cars would be full. It was sort of cosy anyway. Our dinner was wonderful, APPETIZER.. ..Shrimp Cocktail, SALAD (Chef's Choice), ENTREE...Beef Tenderloin Medallion: Twin 3 oz beef tenderloin medallions with garlic mashed potatoes and topped with portobello mushrooms, tomatoes, smoked bacon mixture, and finished with gorgonzola crumbles and a light au jus sauce. DESSERT, (Chef's Choice),( cherry cheese cake, with cherries, black berrys, encased with a golden light pie crust). It was also very good. Topped off with a delightful cup of coffee.
