Seems like NWP runs at anytime now. Yesterday, they came by about four PM during the Super Bowl game. I've seen or heard them on other days other than M,W, and F as well. Yet other than grain hoppers and a wood car I don't see much other business. I hope they have a few Novato customers.

Comment by Carl O'Connor on February 7, 2012 at 9:47pm What about thier petaluma yard??? the tracks are there they would just need to be redone and a switch put in where the hopper cars are.
Comment by d kosdrosky on February 7, 2012 at 7:40pm there are 3 spurs near Kelleher. i know Novato builders supply & shamrock don't have spurs.
there only one track going off the line in novato and that to the feed mill but that has not been used in a long time
Comment by d kosdrosky on February 7, 2012 at 7:04pm I live in Novato and hope one of these businesses would ship via nwp. but I have doubts do to these reasons.
Kelleher get most of there wood form Eureka,
Novato builders supply is probably too small of a business to use rail,
and shamrock might close,
Comment by d kosdrosky on February 6, 2012 at 6:42pm there's not many customers in Novato,
