Saw something yesterday that got me a little hot.  The mainline in front of the plant was torn up, most of the iron was cut up and gone.  As I was surveying the damage, a security guard talked to me.  He said Haskell was doing it and the right people were notified and put a stop to it.  I hope the rail authority will put on a rare display of guts and force them to pay for the damage.  This would put a chill on those who think the track structure is there for them to steal.

Most of the small artifacts have been moved.  Right now, the big problem is the big stuff.  It will require big cranes and lowbed trucks to move them.  But businesses here, like everyone else, have had a very bad year, so are in no position to donate services.  It will take $$$.  Everyone who can give money to THA, (even if it's a small gift), will help.  Perhaps, if we can at least pay their expenses, maybe they'll give us a break.  But with the way things are, there are no guarentees.  Thank you for your interest.

Well, hopefully the economy will keep it from selling very fast. Sorry to hear about the loss of a member over all that bogus deadline/impending sale crap.

Zach, All the smaller items have been moved.  Now, yesterday, the property is up for public purchase. It would seem that we were lied to regarding the impending sale.  No deadline has been enforced and no extension has been talked of.  This is all getting to us. We have recently lost a very valuable member due to all this frustration and back room politics.

Thad-how's the Fields Landing move going? Did you guys get an extension on the deadline?

The flake board plant is being torn down.  And guess what??  2 more pieces of THA equipment still live there. The A & MR #101 and a smashed caboose.  Again, THA gets screwed!  We have to move these as well as the current rescue operation at Fields Landing.  Now, tracks missing could make loading this stuff even more difficult and expensive.
