I discovered that the area where our apartment complex now stands, which was built in '72, has an interesting railroad history. Many months since last posting and many changes. We moved, to the SFO area; sadly had to say goodbye to our beloved Pasito Southern Railroad when we relocated. We have been working on our new layout, the Carolan Pacific Railroad; this one in N scale and in a format that can be moved. There's ups and downs for sure and a lot to love. More on the CP later.

We acquired 101 on our trip to LA last month. It's our first official Pasito Southern locomotive; formerly AT&SF. It's been converted to burn oil; ladders have been added for access to the oil tank and weathered.…

I cleaned the locomotive with Windex on a make-up sponge, while wearing disposable gloves. I do this on all weathering projects to remove fingerprints/dust etc. I masked the lights; windows; the speaker grills under the fuel tank and the area between the truck…Continue
to share model railroading and railfan stuff in general, vice fb, because it is quiet, clean and pleasant like a library. Not so with the other place. Just trains here and I can relax.
