Why is the NWP getting so much motive power when theres only 3 trains a week? If we were up to northern healdsburg I could see 1922 and 2009 lashed up together to haul, but three?

Whats your thoughts and takes on this?

Would be cool to see this loco in scarlet…

San Rafael Whistle Stop Last Night

Departed work at Richmond BART Yard at 7:46 PM and drove across the bridge to Exit 452.  Arrived at the San Rafael Station at 8:10 and parked next to the NWP mailine tracks.  Now this might not be anything special to most of you, but I hadn't been to San Rafael in forty years and never had seen the station at all.  So I stood on the running rail and enjoyed the…

Grain cars are gone from Petaluma

Just drove by Hunt and Brhrens this afternoon.  Didn't see the grain cars.  When were they taken away?  How were they taken away.  Where did they go?
