"What about my proposals below? Coal terminal, Refinery and scrap yard to avoid empty car movements?  By the time the line could be restored, the refinery, coal dock and scrap yard could be operational. "

"It does not seem likely. Perhaps if it was built as either narrow gage or as monorail to lessen the costs of rebuilding the line. The rails are still in place so if  weight limits were placed on freight cars and loads perhaps one could rebuild…"

NWP Activity in March?

Any interesting rail movements in March? Haven't seen many train-action photos recently. Am in Seattle so unable to see NWP tracks clearly. Hope that there has been/is interesting activity going on. I suppose that rail train #5 has delivered more rail to NWP. How far has new rail been laid? I estimate that each rail-train has about 3.5mi. of track aboard with 50 rails of 1500 ft each cradled  on cars.  Steve
