Steve, I said-"Well, since I appear to be the instigator in this, I am not w/out blame. I should have figured it'd get out of hand, so thanks for calling a stop to it, Steve. I too apologize if you were offended. I was merely stating my opinion, which I've formed on observations and life expirences over the last 21 years. My passion for the NWP took over, my blood started boiling over, and my emotions caused me to desend into a rant...I read somewhere online a saying that really fits right now-"Opinions are like butts; We all have one, and we all think everyone else's stinks!" Shoot, I should have known things would start getting political. So lets try to put it behind us, bury the hatchet, so to speak, and move on...Steve, I consider you a valuable member of this site, and I'd hate to see you go. Again, if I offended you in any way, I'm sorry. Let's agree to disagree on politics, and focus on our love of the NWP.

   Sincerely, Respectfully, and Humbled,

Zachary M. Toler"

I also said-"You know, I think one reason stuff like this gets said is because people (myself included) can hide behind a profile photo, and say anything, anonymusly. If more people were acting like we were talking face to face, things would likely stay civilized...I never intended to stir up the fecal material like this, into the feces storm that happened...

Covering my nose and looking for an umbrela,

Zachary M. Toler"

I also said this-"...I was a bit harsh, however, some of those comments that folowed were down right mean. I'm not responsible for other's opinions, but my actions were the catylist that started it, so, for that I'm sorry. I'm ready to move on though, and I'll do my damnedest to not spout off like that in such a manner, that would encourage others to be so disrespectful..." and so with my final apology on this, I hope you aren't mad at me, Steve.

Good to hear from you. I will relay your interest to my father, of course. Thanks again for the book. I have already read it, cover to cover. If able to, I will help when I can. The day was thoroughly enjoyed by both of us.

I have just begun work on a HO scale P&SR caboose #1, and i was wondering if there was anytime when i could come see the caboose to get somemore shots...?

Thats alright,
after looking at the pictures, i was wondering where i might be able to find this caboose if it still is in the Bay Area....
also, do you know if its a Mainline, branch line or narrow guage caboose? I never got a good look at the car so excuse me if it is stated..
thank you!

Thank you,

Thanks for the link I will check it out later today.

I have started a Blog Post on the difficulties I have been having with internet connections, which I am going to restrict to there. Please go and check it out!

I finally caught up with your comment that had the click 'HERE' is in. I am going look at the pics some more.

I hope it is a wet year for yall or things could really get bad in that region. As far as clandestine opinions and water concerns are concerned, dont they go all the way to Colarado and north right into Canada?

Let us know how it goes today with the GREAT COVER UP OF CABOOSE # 1. I will be most interested!

See ya,

Hi Steve,
Thats a bummer, no way to get into a shop? You guys get rain there? not in a drought? Hope so from what I have seen (my window is KTLA) it seems so dry there all the time when it is not burning up. I believe LA is some what south of you if I understand it right?
got to run,
