Sean, I spent my summers in Loleta in the 1950's. I grew up in Oakland. During a short stay in 1958, I got a ride to Eureka and did some of my yard photos then. In 1961 my good friend and fellow model railroader Bob Hogan and I got to go to Loleta via Budd car and chase trains for a week. After that we made numerous trips "up north". My current RR is my third attempt at modeling the northend of the NWP.

Welcome to the list! I recommend that you look through the photo collection. There are many, many NWP and related photos there. I model the NWP in the 50's, the north end.
