Humboldt Bay and Eureka Model Train Club Open House at 7th and A Streets, Eureka, CA 95502

April 29, 2017 at 12pm to April 30, 2017 at 5pm
The HBE will have its annual spring open house featuring the layout and trains expertly built by club members.  This year featuring a new trestle built by David Berriman.  See More

Humboldt Bay & Eureka Model Railroad Club

The Humboldt Bay & Eureka Model Railroad Club has existed in the same location in Eureka for ~ 40 years.  The large HO layout is freelanced but with many scenes based on NWP locations.The club typically meets each Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.  Visitors are welcome.  Open house occurs during Veterans' Day and Rhododendron Days weekends.See More

I wonder if the "clean" power supply I built still supplies switch machine power.  I remember working for hours underneath the layout trying to figure out what wire went to where and for what for....  Several were just twisted together! I think the Mountain Division was my favorite because of the scenery. Are you still "renting" the room up stairs for the layout? I remember that was abit dicey at the time.
