"This is by the fishing pier at the foot of Del Norte st I think. Right by the old flea market by the bay. If you follow the tracks to the right, you can just make out the log dump."

"these tracks are right near our THA museum out in Samoa. I believe they were layed at water level for easy loading onto barges. Not completely sure about this"

"I always wondered what those piers were out in the bay, but I never would have guessed that they were the last remnants of a railroad! What would cause the builders or management of the Eel River and Eureka to think it would be easier to maintain…"

NWP #330 Fan Trip

"Yes these cars had motors and third rail shoes for electrical pick up. They were converted from old steam passenger coaches. Later due to public complaints they were replaced by new and secondhand Espee steel cars."
