"That canyon literally gets it from the top down and the bottom up.  Building a trail will be questionable at best. It will wash out multiple times a year also.  I also couldn't imagine going through the Island Mountain Tunnel again. I…"

"I know for sure two of them are SW-542 Sonoma and SW-544 Mendocino. The blue/silver is an SP Coach also by the looks of it. The third is either Tuolumne (SW-510) or Humboldt (SW-546) Im pretty sure its Tuolumne, because Humboldt was…"

"In the past both SMART and NCRA have been very nice to local railroad museums. SMART I think gave some stuff to the NWPRRHS (phone booth). NCRA gave the Eureka Southern Crane to Roots. "

"Great story! I have ridden the EURK Daylight and NCRA Daylights as a kid. However, as Jeff posted, I think the top speed was 25 and towards the end, that was top. I do want to say from experience, my dad (and I) used to volunteer on the forth of…"

Michael    I added to my status 2=24.  In response to your question, I had heard it during the Novato negotiations, then read it in the DEIR dated 2009 part 2.3.3.1 that is available on NCRA website. I have heard it since but I don't recall where.  I sure hope I am wrong as it makes no sense to not offer freight. I could see it in their efforts for the early startup, but after SMART finishes I would think it would be a no brainer.  I think there are a few potential customers still there.  I hope you find this message....
