"One of these was shoved back to Lombard by 2009 today. Does anybody know what is happening to it? It did not appear to be in use but rather heading to a new owner I would imagine. I did not stick around to see if it returned however."

No cars for the NWP today

As I was approaching Schellville station a little after 11 this morning RJC 2009 had just crossed the road and they were tying her up for the day when I pulled in. One of the trainmen told me there was a breakdown on the California Northern and they didn't get their cars. They expect to get their cars tomorrow and make a run to Petaluma.
