"The reason it didn’t have ditchlights at the time is because they weren’t required by the FRA until by the end of 1997. Pictures of it (BNSF 1628) in 2003 show ditchlights were added."

"This is in fact our NWP 1922. BNSF 1922 (currently) is a SD40-2. NWP 1922 was originally Northern Pacific 337, then Burlington Northern 1922, then BNSF 1628, then BUGX 337, and finally NWP (BUGX) 1922"
