Mr Codoni, My name is Steve Atnip. I am the junior member of the NWPRRHS BOD. I have been working on a slide show/DVD of the restoration of P&SR Caboose #1. A version was shown at the last NWPRRHS dinner. It is ongoing until it is finished. Recently I saw some prints of pictures you had taken. I had not seen them before and they were fantastic. I would LOVE to be able to use some of them in the slide show. It would not be for sale (too hard to get rights for the music etc). You would of course be added to the credits at the beginning and get a copy. Sorry to use this method of contacting you, but I don't have your regular email.

Hello Fred,

Glad you found us. I had hoped to advertise the network in the upcoming issue of the Headlight, but wasn't able to get my "ad copy" ready in time, unfortunately. I'll try to prepare the ad for the upcoming issue of The Northwesterner, but in the meantime, yes, if wouldn't mind including a blurb about the network in the Headlight I would much appreciate it. Perhaps something like:

"The NWP may now lay claim to railroading's first online social network, found at: The Northwestern Pacific Railroad Network is dedicated to sharing the heritage of Redwood Empire railroading through photos, videos, forums, blogs, events, real-time chat, and much more, and while the network has no affiliation with the "new" NWP, the NCRA, or the NWPRRHS, it seeks to support these organizations in preserving the history of the NWP and promoting and documenting the future role of the railroad in the Redwood Empire."

The above sounds like ad copy, too, but feel free to pick and choose if do wish to include mention of the network in the next Headlight. Thanks, Fred!

Hi, Mark - Thanks for the kind words. For some reason I didn't know about your great site. How about providing a few words I can use in the next Headlight (which will go to the printer tomorrow!) about the site so our readers will be aware of it?

Welcome to the NWPRR Network, Fred! I enjoyed your book and it's a pleasure and an honor to have you aboard. Please take a look around and let me know if you have any questions or comments. I'm adding content daily and am actively recruiting new members -- please feel free to invite your own friends if you think they may be interested. Regards,
