HIHO: Yes Steve's father was the ranch manager and my dad was the herdsman. We left the ranch at the end of 1959.
Steve is retired and living in Healdsburg, as no doubt you know.
What was your fathers name, my wife thinks she remembers him.
If you get into the club, that is the best of both worlds, a lay out and your wife is happy. After 48 plus years, all to one women, the most important words are YES DEAR. That is the way we get the last word.
You and yours have a nice holiday. be safe Wynn
Hi Don; Your name rings bells in this old head. I grew up out west side on the McMurray ranch. Did you have anything to do with them or Ralph Wright, the mail man? He was my father-in-law?
My wife's Grandfather also work on the railroad down in Strathmore for old SP.
Are you into mode railroading?
Cheers Wynn Nelson
