This line is facing abandonment/trailization. It runs right by my house. The only hope for this section of the line  is a tourist train. Currently progressive rail owns this section but has no use for it.

I know of this line very well. Grew up in Redwood City until I was 8 yrs old.

This is at Wilder Ranch, North of Santa Cruz, on the Watsonville - Davenport Branch. The Iowa Pacific is supposed to take this over... Freight and Passenger, with Dinner Rides and special Holiday Trains. The line runs by my house ( 6 houses down ) in Santa Cruz.
