You could be right Chris, though I would hope they would at least keep the outside look of it. It has Dynamics, so when it gets rebuilt it will definitely be seeing service on the Redwood Valley to Willits line, over Laughlin Ridge. They will need a few Dynamics equipped locomotives for that portion.
I have a funny feeling by "repaired" this is what they mean
3804 is slated to get repaired at some point, don't know the fate of any of the other locomotives
Does anybody know if there are any future plans for these engines(rehabilitation/sale/scrap/etc.)?

Although covered in rust... Does anyone think there's a chance cct #70 will be saved?
The only THA loco technically on the line, is Arcata and Mad River #101, a 44 ton Diesel. I've seen it up close and I've been in the cab.
AND two ex Bessemer & Lake Erie F Units, also relicts of the Darling regime, but I don't think BUGX owns them. Maybe NCRA traded them to whoever owned the SD9s (assuming it wasn't NCRA all along) before handing nearly everything to BUGX...confused yet? I am! :-0 Gotta love the recent history of our favorite road, but it sure is hard to figure out the roster...

NWP owns/rents 2 locos (1922 and 2009)
NCRA owns 1 loco (CCT 70)
BUGX owns 9 GP9s (including 1922), 4 SD9s and 2 Alcos, for a total of 15 locos

Total number of locos on the NWP/NCRA line (excluding THA)-17 (only counting 1922 once)
Sean-NCRA only owns CCT 70. NCRA did own all the locos in Eureka, plus the Willits locos-NWPY (John Darlings’ failed incarnation of NWP in late ‘90s, the Black Widow NWP units) GEEPS 3844 and 3850, one NCRA GEEP in the 3700 series I think, plus CCT S1 #42 and RS1 #80) and 3804. Not sure about these three SD9s or the one in Willits, though. A leasing company, Brugere & Munson (BUGX) was somehow owed money by NCRA, and to settle up, NCRA gave BUGX every loco except CCT 70, so they now own every loco on the NWP/NCRA line (including NWP 1922), with two notable exceptions-NWP/RJC 2009 was owned by RJ Corman Railroad Company, another leasing company, however NWP Co. recently agreed to buy it outright, and as previously mentioned, CCT (NCRA) 70. Then there’s the THA’s loco collection, which I’m not including, obviously. I’m only talking about what NCRA recently but no longer owns, and what NWP owns/rents.

So theres 4 gp9's, and 1 gp7 in eureka.... How many total engines belong to the railroad?
A few weeks ago they used a part of 3804 to get 1922 running right.
