Anyone have any idea how this image racked up over 132k views?  (So far.)

Even Moving The Inside Track, which I had thought was the record holder on this site, has only 11k views!

Nice picture, 1922 is becoming the grey ghost again, I think we need to replace 2009 with another gp9, that would be nice to have another one, since the old geep units in Eureka are out of order.

I read in progressive railroading a while back that the cost to outfit a locomotive with PTC could range from 70k to 100k per locomotive depending on the year and model. I think nwp said they were trying to get federal funds to help pay for the upgrade but that is still a steep bill. With 007 needing a traction motor and PTC dosent that seem like more than its worth?? Why not sell it for something else??.

I cannot foresee NWP getting another loco. With SMART running PTC, NWP has to get their engines outfitted meaning that any engines not outfitted with PTC will not be able to run. I think the cost to outfit all engines with PTC came down to 1922 and 2009. I also think that 1322 was leased for the SMART project. I do remember when SMART started building things, 1922 was down for a while with a dead traction motor. 2009 had to pull the entire rail train all by its self and it looked pathetic... soon after 1322 showed up. I think 1922 was a reserve unit to aid in the need for an extra loco.

A CFNR employee confirmed that they did indeed receive 1322 in interchange this morning, 3/15.
