Can't see if deadheading is any more profitable. Dead in tow? If locomotive is deadheading does that mean engine is dead? If so is it coasting on return? But it isn't on the Coast, so how is that possible?
Trump that nonsense if you can. Remember there are more important things happening now in the United States than the condition of either NWP or SMART. Think national and act national then act local. Amen, or rather a man.

Or not.  An adjacent photo in this series shows 2009 deadheading back to Schellville.

We can't tell from this photo alone, but maybe on that day 2009 returned from Lombard with a long string of cars, making the trip more worthwhile.

;This must be the shortest consist in months; or is now normal since the rains/floods?  Not a very profitable run.  What are typical consists of now that rains have let up?
