This 2010 MCI D4500 was the last for the 2010 order for Golden Gate Transit. Here it is seen going head to head with the S.M.A.R.T. DMU set in Petaluma, CA. As S.MA.R.T. is the new agency in town, the transit agencies are not worried about lack of revenue due to the new system, but they are worried.

Richard, Thank you for the kind words! I try to go for the most unique stuff, as many others just "repeat" what others do. Mr. Staff was a great photographer of the WP. I love his work, along with a few others.

Frank, thank you for posting these VERY interesting photos! I particularly liked the B&W and the B&W blended images. The red crossing signal and the lupine stand are beautiful.

For those of us with long memories, the two photos with the lovely lady bring back memories of Virgil Staff, a great photographer and WP historian. Ladies frequently graced his photos! So many memories, so little time. His photos and movies are with the Feather River Museum in Portola. Virgil passed in 2008.
