I always knew those hideous "hybrids" would have issues. Union Pacific is using there engines less because on the hump they would need 3 engines but for SD40-2s only 2 are needed. Also, they only use these switchers when they have to handle the hump with empties or else they would catch fire.

Is the NWP down to one loco or is 2009 now back up running?

It would be great to have it out for Butter and Egg.

they own it now it was a leased one at one time

It has been giving them trouble, they had to leave it in WillowBrook because it kept dieing on them and they couldnt trust it going back to Schellville. So they tagged it along for the ride and brought it back to Schellville that day.
