Today was a great day for SMART as we were able to cross the New Haystack Bridge!

Does anybody know who's getting that plum job as the bridge operator(s)?  Seems like a great opportunity to catch up on your reading!  Because the waterway has to remain open 24/7, it would seem somebody's going to have to be on duty all the time to operate the bridge whenever any river traffic comes along.  The clearance beneath the bridge is minimal, so they are going to have to open it for a lot of small craft traffic, especially on weekends.
