Another Richard has been posting about the status of NWP 1922.  I went looking to find her last November 2018 and found her in the Schellville NWP cage looking like this.  Many of us on this w-site wondered about the paint quality on 1922.  I'm an engine builder and always felt that her internals had been well rebuilt to pull heavy loads.  But the paint job, should have gone to Earl Scheib.

1922 is dead, likely due to messed up auxiliary generator or load regulator. Lease has been up for a couple years. 1501 doesn't have ATC either and will never get it due to insane testing and installation costs. "New" power is on the way.

As I posted before, no ATC and maybe never.  Therefore "persona non grata" on the new SMART RoW.  But do note that 1501 is sitting behind and she seems to be verified power. 

Most likely the same for all of the old SP derelicts sitting in Schellville as well as Eureka as pollution control is a fact in our Bay Area.  Sad but true and just a sign of the times.

Will they ever use 1922 again on the NWP? She's looking like a grey ghost again. Gotta love that paint though.
