NWP Caboose #52

Much as I'd like to claim this NWP caboose is my work it was actually built by Clyde King, a friend, fellow West Bay Model Railroad Association member, and well-known SP modeler. Clyde was quick to point out a number of non-prototypical features, including the air reservoir, which is not transversely mounted, the steps may be to wide, and the end windows are not the correct size/shape. He also scratch-built the stack from styrene as that included in the old Silver Streak kit was completely wrong for SP/NWP. Clyde lacked suitable NWP decals so he cut each letter from an old SP set and applied them individually -- pretty amazing work when looked at closely, and I certainly admire his skills.
