The west-facing cantilever still has an old WRRS bell (the predecessor to the Western-Cullen-Hayes bell). The east-facing cantilever has a newer (but still not “new”) Western-Cullen-Hayes bell.

I guess it was a diffren't cantilever im thinking about in Asti

I would guess not. This bell has probably been on this signal for a very long time. There are some that have Safetran bells, but most of the signals north of where SMART has done replacement have RACO (essentially identical internally to the Safetran bells), WRRS, WCH, Safetran “Hybrid”, or US&S bells.
