I do not know why SP stopped the "Black Widow" paint and changed over to scarlet and gray.  It was probably a cost saving move on their part.

NWP GP9 looks really sharp in that "Bloody Nose" paint scheme.  I wish the NWP would have continued on with the "Black Widow" paint scheme though.  I do not know why SP stopped the "Black Widow" paint and changed over to scarlet and gray.  It was probably a cost saving move on their part.  The good news is that I can still see NWP "Black Widows" in HO Scale on my in progress NWP "Redwood Empire Route" layout.  Seeing NWP 1922 just gives me an excuse to purchase another locomotive to add to my NWP roster!

Well, Mark, it's a start. NWP will need to add to it though, it's a bit lacking.

As has been pointed out elsewhere on this network, it looks as though the new NWP has finally begun work on a website, found here:

Not much content yet but hopefully there will be soon.  Regards,

Hello All,

I live a few blocks from the SR Depot. When the first freight train came through last I was there but my 3 1/2 year old was in bed by that time and missed it. Does anyone have a way to see a schedule of runs that will come through Santa Rosa. I would love to take my boy down to see the train come through.

Thanks,

I'm not seeing any indication of activity today out of Schellville to Petaluma or Windsor, am I overlooking anything?

I like the new photo for this group. Mark, that video link isn't working.
