Here's a no brainer for freight sales. Put in a switch for the San Rafael Shamrock Cement plant. Don't charge for the rail. You will make it back on future sales of rock and cement. Just get it done. No mode of transportation can deliver rock and cement cheaper. If you build it business will come.

Visited the Santa Rosa depot location for the local Info site and loved how the people there are supportive of the NWPRRHS.

If you have not made a visit I recommend.

John Williams has responded to ask if I can help him drive freight biz.

I'm not a salesman but will investigate by attending SMART board meetings.

Mark if you come up here pls advise and I will offer you some good red wines.

I am member No. 165.  When I found out about the NWPRRHS from reading about it in Trains,  I spoke with Jack Farley and signed up right away.  When time permits, I will add a picture.

Thanks for the update, Steve! I contributed to the #112 acquisition fund with my NWPRRHS renewal this year, and would love to see that happen. And any and all excursion trains running on NWP lines would be gravy, of course. Regards,

Mark D.

From the January NWPRRHS BOD Meeting...

It was stated that acquiring NWP 112 is a major goal of NWPRRHS.

GGRM and PLA have expressed an interest in running a tourist/excursion train on NWP lines.

Looking into having the next annual dinner at Duncan's Mill.
