Chris P. Is there any possible thought on releasing the 87-1434 passenger car lettering in lettering grey? I was hoping it would be in the recently released set but it looks like it only comes in gold/yellow.

Nice weathering job.

The Atlas cars sit down nicely.  No filing of the bolsters required.  Trucks seem to roll well.  Although I replaced wheel sets with Fox Valley metals and clipped the couplers for Micro Trains Z scale sets.

The top hopper is what I was/am planning on doing..! I was just curious if black grain hoppers could effect the load at all, as in heat or something along that lines.

For those who are interested, I found some pictures of some alternate-reality NWP rolling stock that are very well done:

Chad, they definitely exist - the most notable are the Bethgon Coalporter cars for several power companies.

Quick question,

Is there a reason I've never seen a black hopper car? I had some extra NWP black widow decals that I was going to make into a black widow grain hopper, but I couldn't find any google pictures of a solid black hopper post 50s. I was just curious as this was going to be a fun side project. Thanks guys.

Chad
