Does anyone know when the Timber Heritage Assotiation could have geared steam locomotives opperateing? Just curious

Looks like they have a "Steam Up" almost every month but you may wish to contact them about the equipment to be operated at each event.  We have a number of members on this network who are involved with the THA -- perhaps one of them can let us know.  Regards,

Hi, Yes, Steam-up happens every 3rd Sat during summer months.  We are currently running the Bear Harbor #1.  as the Falk is being re tubed. This may well be our final season as Ft. Humboldt is on the closure list.  Come on out for free rides all day!!!
Mike,  Both of our operable locomotives are geared.  But they are not Shays or anything.  Both are Gypsy type and are over 100 years old.
