When we sold the north end (MP 142.5 - Samoa) in 1984, I recall the Eureka Southern began operation using train orders, Direct Traffic Control was implemented on the south end (Schellville - Willits) shortly after the sale, probably in 1985. Does anyone recall when DTC replaced train order operation on the north end? My documentation has a large gap in tine, Eureka Southern Timetable No. 1 (1985) is train order operation, North Coast Railroad Timetable No. 1 (1993) is Direct Traffic Control operation.
I'll try to see what I can find on the web. I am also building the Eel River portion of NWP in Train Simulator.
