Anyway to recover my salutary words I wrote to on the reply section of the w-site to eulogize and describe my pictures of this workhorse engine of the "old NWP"?

Do you also receive the holiday card from Woodside?

Richard now in Sonoma County.

Hello Richard,

I take it you lost accompanying text for the photos of #1922 which you shared?  Unfortunately, I have no way to recover that text unless it was previously saved with a photo, perhaps.  Sorry about that!  And, no, I haven't received a card from Woodside but, again, I don't think I'm on the mailing list.  Hope you and yours have a great Holiday in the wine country!  Regards,

Mark D.

Hey Mark.

That's OK.  I also have some other shots of 2009 bringing in a large consist from Napa.

I've now joined this group https://www.friendsofsmart.net/ to lobby the SMART BoD to install switches on the new RoW to allow more freight to he hauled into and out of Sonoma Cty.  I've already spoken to the last two SMART BoD meetings about this and the members of the friends (FOS) members have asked me to attend their meetings.

But that is one thing.  Another is come up to Santa Rosa with your 21 year old friends and we can go wine tasting now that I am a winegrower.  I burned out on my tech years in Silly Valley.

Richard

You're living my dream, Richard -- I hope to retire from the tech industry in ten years or so and move north of the Bay Area, perhaps to Ukiah where I grew up, and grow grapes and enjoy some peace, quiet and clean air (absent the fires).  Just need to convince my wife that's what she wants to do, as well.  :)
