Event Description

The quarterly NWPRRHS program will be held in the CARRIAGE HOUSE at the Elk's Club on January 11. A flyer is attached. Note the alternate location, as the usual site in the Elk's dining room is in use for a different event. The Carriage House in next to the parking lot.
At one time Marin County was sominated by a railroad, the Northwestern Pacific, whose monopoly gave the area one of the best electric railway services in the region. In this program you will learn how it was from its inception to its demise, and interesting factual tidbits about the operations along the way. Learn about this history that is largely forgotten, and see all that we had that can never be duplicated!
